കേരള സ്റ്റോറി’ സിനിമ ദൂരദർശനിൽ സംപ്രേക്ഷണം ചെയ്യുന്നത് വിലക്കണമെന്ന് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ട് തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് കമ്മിഷന് പ്രതിപക്ഷ നേതാവ് കത്ത് നൽകി. സമൂഹത്തിൽ ഭിന്നിപ്പ് ഉണ്ടാക്കി രാഷ്ട്രീയ ലാഭമുണ്ടാക്കുകയെന്ന സംഘപരിവാർ താൽപര്യമാണ് സിനിമ പ്രദർശിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിന് പിന്നിൽ. സിനിമ സംപ്രേക്ഷണം ചെയ്യുന്നത് പെരുമാറ്റചട്ട ലംഘനമാണെന്നും പ്രതിപക്ഷ നേതാവ് ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി. കത്ത് പൂർണരൂപത്തിൽ I am writing this letter to request your good self to direct the Doordarshan to withdraw from its decision to telecast the extremely malicious “Kerala Story” movie.It has been learned that Doordarshan has decided to telecast the film “Kerala Story ” on April 5, 2024. As you are aware, Kerala Story is a propaganda film based on extremely false premises and attempts to paint a bleak picture of the people of the state. I believe this is part of Sangh Parivaar’s poisonous agenda to divide the Country along communal lines.The decision by the Central Government to telecast the movie via Doordarshan before the Loksabha election is a tacit effort to divide society on religious grounds to further the electoral prospects of the ruling BJP. The decision of Doordarshan is a direct insult to the people of Kerala. It is also in violation of model poll conduct, which forbids any effort to divide society on religious lines.In light of these contentions, I request your good self to direct Doordarshan to withdraw from its decision to telecast the extremely malicious “Kerala Story” movie.
